Desoto State Park– Silver trail
Park your car near the Country Store and walk across the street to pick up the trail head. This loop trail offers a CCC quarry, and boulder fields. The Silver blazed trail takes you through mixed deciduous forest. There’ an abundance of plants in this pine and hardwood forest. The trails are gentle and well maintained. Pick up a “not to scale” map at the country store/ranger station 100 yards away.
